Hall's Giant

Halls Giant

Hall's Giant is an old hazel variety, but it gets its name from the size of the nuts not the size of the tree - it grows as a compact bush.

The nuts are not as large as some of the modern hazel varieties - however the flavour is good, one of the best available.

How to grow Hall's Giant hazel trees

Requires a pollination partner - choose Butler or Cosford. Hall's Giant is itself a very good pollinator for other hazel varieties which require pollination in the mid-late season such as Ennis.
