One of the oldest traditional English cooking apples, Dumelow's Seedling (or Dumeller's Seedling) has a rich full acidity, and cooks down to a stiff pale puree.
This is one of our own favourite cooking apples, perfect for apple crumble.

Dumelow's Seedling is self-sterile and needs to be pollinated by another tree of a different variety nearby.
Our online pollination checker lists suitable pollination partners for this variety.
More advice about pollination.
Dumelow's Seedling is easy to grow and like many old cooking apple varieties it is relatively disease-resistant.
