Braeburn is one of the most important commercial apple varieties, grown in all the major warm-climate apple producing areas of the world. It has a very good flavour when grown in the right conditions, and keeps well.

Delivery period: Pot-grown trees can be delivered from September onwards. Bare-root trees can be delivered from mid-November onwards. Within those periods you can specify your preferred month of delivery during the checkout process. It is best to order as soon as you can to ensure items are reserved for you.

Braeburn is self-fertile and does not need a pollination partner, although fruiting may be improved if there is a compatible tree of a different variety nearby.

Braeburn is generally an easy variety to grow, but it needs a long growing season. It is successful in the southern UK and does very well in France and Italy.
Being a commercial variety, it is well-suited to the more dwarfing rootstocks such as M9. Braeburn and most of its sports are self-fertile and do not necessarily need a pollination partner.
